He is also Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer, School of Medicine, University of St Andrews, Scotland. He is a former President of the European Board and College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (EBCOG) and Past Vice-President of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG). He chairs the Quality Assurance Committee of the EBCOG examination.
