John Gray (1948) is emeritus hoogleraar Europese ideeëngeschiedenis aan de London School of Economics en een prominente Britse politiek filosoof en auteur. Gray werd in 2014 door Filosofie Magazine geselecteerd door de G8 van de Filosofie.
