This video atlas introduces orthopaedic surgeons and neurosurgeons to the latest techniques and procedures in the field of spine surgery. It comprises a set of professionally produced DVDs with a total running time of five hours and a voice over commentary in English. It is accompanied by a booklet of 292 pages of supplementary information and background. The DVDs contain more than 50 different spine operations including neurosurgical procedures performed by surgeons from across the world. The videos have been organized to show procedures along with the clinical details of the patient, relevant photographs, a brief introduction to the procedure and the actual surgical procedure, including possible complications, post-operative management and follow up.
