He has been awarded the Outstanding Surgery Teaching Award on several occasions. Dr. Friedman has also served as president of the San Fernando Valley Dermatological Society. Payam Saadat, M.D., graduated magna cum laude from California State University, Northridge. After receiving his medical degree and graduating with highest distinction from USC, he completed a residency in Dermatology at the LAC-USC Medical Center, where he served as chief resident.
