Bert De Cuyper doceerde sportpsychologie aan de KU Leuven aan masterstudenten training en coaching, en aan toekomstige fysiotherapeuten en sportartsen. Als professor emeritus is hij academisch verantwoordelijke voor de Opleiding Praktijkgerichte Sportpsychologie.
