Als aspirant van het F.W.O.-Vlaanderen bereidt hij aan de Faculteit Godgeleerdheid van de K.U.Leuven een doctoraatsstudie voor over de spanning tussen de moderne filosofie en de openbaring waarop de christelijke godsdienst steunt.
